Will Izenson advises entrepreneurs, startups, and established companies on the legal and strategic issues that arise as businesses grow. His practice focuses on helping clients launch new ventures, navigate regulatory requirements, draft and negotiate contracts, and structure complex transactions, including the purchase and sale of business assets and property. Will works closely with business owners to provide practical legal guidance that supports both day-to-day operations and long-term growth.
Will regularly counsels founders and companies at different stages of development, from individuals with a new business idea to established businesses pursuing expansion or investment opportunities. He assists clients with entity formation, governance and operational agreements, commercial contracts, and regulatory compliance. By combining legal analysis with a practical understanding of business operations, Will helps clients identify risk, structure transactions, and move forward with confidence.
Before joining the firm, Will worked with organizations operating in technology-driven and regulated industries. Through work with innovators affiliated with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), he advised startup teams on legal issues involving data privacy, cybersecurity, and health law. His experience also includes analysis of commercial agreements and multi-state regulatory obligations affecting businesses operating across multiple jurisdictions. Will also has a working understanding of how modern software and technology systems are built and operate, which allows him to communicate effectively with technical teams and provide practical legal advice to clients developing technology-driven products.
Will earned his J.D. from Boston University School of Law and holds an undergraduate degree from Emory University. He lives and practices in Syracuse, New York. Outside the office, he enjoys cooking, competing in trivia nights, and building custom computers.
